SPECS:
Classic watch model. 42mm width (46mm with crown), 50mm lug to lug, 14mm thick, 22mm wide strap. Choice of bezel-ring color (Black, Blue, Red, Green).
The watch case is constructed in 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, and is water depth rated to 300 meters / 1,000 feet.
We offer an upgrade to a DLC-black watch case ($185).
DIAL:
Choose from a black or blue dial. The dial design features your choice of wings / graphics / plane / helicopter / patch / emblem, etc @12 and choice of standard U.S. Naval Institute logo or the 150th Anniversary edition logo @6 produced in metallic gold.
BEZEL RING:
The watch offers 4 colors of bezel ring: black, blue, red, and green. We also have orange and yellow if you would like to see these options, please let us know in the "order comments".
There are two options for your caseback design; first is the standard caseback with the U.S. Naval Institute logo or 150th Anniversary logo and your name / service dates (or other text) around the outside. Second is to upgrade your watch with a custom designed caseback tailored to you, featuring your graphics / patches / deployments / flight hours, etc. After your order is placed, we will reach out to create the caseback with you, and will send as many mock-up revisions as needed until the design is perfect. The custom caseback upgrade is $250.
WATCH STRAP:
The watch comes mounted on your choice of strap: black leather with white stitching, black leather with red stitching, black leather with black stitching, brown leather with white stitching. If you would prefer a rubber strap, or a carbon fiber strap, please let us know in the "order comments".
METAL BRACELET:
Upgrade your watch with a metal bracelet. Our bracelets are constructed of solid links and solid end-pieces (as opposed to hollow bracelet links and end-pieces which are structurally weaker). The upgrade cost is $310.
WATCH HANDS:
The hands of your watch depends on the movement you select to power your timepiece. The Quartz movement uses the sword style hands and the Automatic movement offers a wider selection of hand styles (if you choose the Automatic movement, we will send you multiple visuals showing the different hand options).
The movement is the engine that powers your watch. The watch comes with a Swiss Ronda Quartz (3-year battery) movement. Upgrade your watch to a Swiss Ronda Quartz 10-year battery movement for $125 or to the Swiss ETA 2824-2 Automatic movement for $415.
The automatic movement is the type you’d find in Rolex, Omega, Breitling and has a power reserve of approx 40 hours. The battery movement runs approx 2-3 years, then requires a simple battery swap. If you have questions about the movements, please send us a quick email (contact@swisspl.com).
PRODUCTION TIME:
These watches are handcrafted and made-to-order; the customized parts are produced in-house, tailored to you. Average production time is between 4-6 weeks, however we offer rush service if required.
Your SwissPL watch is assembled and tested when ordered, and then gets packaged for shipping with the utmost of care in each detail.
The watch is secured inside a heat-sealed enclosure bag, so your hands are the first to touch your new watch.
Your watch will be sent with insured service, with tracking, which requires a signature for delivery.
